Delano Womble, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at NHC in Lawrenceburg, TN.
He was born in Giles County, TN, on May 30, 1945 and retired from Heil Quaker in Lewisburg, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Earl Wilson and Martha Louella Watts Womble; his son: Jeff Womble; and a brother: E. C. Womble.
Survivors include his daughter: Susan Womble of Pulaski, TN; Susan’s mother: Connie Womble of Pulaski; brother: Randy Womble of Ethridge, TN; sisters: Doris Womble Wright and Pauline Gist of Lawrenceburg, TN and Frances Buckner of Nashville, TN; grandchildren: Logan Cox and Gracie Banks.
Funeral services for Delano Womble will be held at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020 with inurnment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
