Frances Lorene Shay, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN.
She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired secretary from the Department of Human Services, and a member of Chapel Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Evans and Beulah Houser Crews; her husband: Tommy Shay; and three sisters: Fanny Hill, Nona Guthrie, and Mildred Smith.
She is survived by two daughters: Debbie Davis and Susanne Owens (Marvin), both of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son: Richard Davis of Lawrenceburg, TN; one step-daughter: Barbara Engert (Ken) of Titusville, FL; one step-son: Randy Shay (Judy) of Pulaski, TN; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Polly Chaffin of FL, Ruth Pilkinton of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Joann Cryer of Live Oak, CA.
Funeral services for Frances Lorene Shay were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 with Ed Daniel officiating. Interment followed at Ethridge Masonic Cemetery in Ethridge, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
