Kathleen McDonald, age 90, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
She attended Pea Ridge Church of Christ for many years and later attended Crews Town Church of Christ. She loved to sew and spent many years working in garment factories. She was President of the ILGW Union at Kay Windsor for many years. After she retired she cherished the time she got to spend with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Roy McDonald, Sr.; parents: Townsel Tasso, Sr. and Mamie Izora Gobble; brothers: Buddy Gobble and Buford Gobble; and sister: Earlean Brewer
She is survived by her children: Linda Prince (Justin), James “Jimmy” McDonald, Jr. (Darlene), Ronnie McDonald (Frances) and Sherri Hughes (Gary); sisters: Jo Lester, Edna Belew, June Clayton, Jewel Farris and Faye Howell; grandchildren: Jennifer Perry, Jill Murks, Jason Moore, Sherri Matthews, David McDonald, Dusty McDonald, Chad Hughes, Beth Burleson; great-grandchildren: Brian, Brittany, Austin, Thatcher, Greer, Madden, Gavin, Ivy, Huxley, Ethan, Zoey, Alexa, Anna, Jacie, Josie; great-great-grandchild: Sawyer; caretaker: Regina Judkins; a host of friends; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Kathleen McDonald were held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Gary Hughes officiating. Interment followed at Highland Cemetery.
