Virginia Eloise Warhurst, age 86, of Lewisburg, TN passed away Friday, October 30, 2020.
She attended Gum Springs Baptist Church for many years. She loved going to church and she loved her church family. She was very talented in needle work and enjoyed making clothing and quilts. She spent her later life babysitting and had a lot of love for the children she kept over the years.
She was preceded in death by her husband: C.D. Warhurst; parents: Johnny Andrew and Erna Powell; brothers: Johnny Andrew Powell Jr., Patton Powell; sisters: Evadean Powell, Mildred Troup.
She is survived by her son: Danny Warhurst (Pam); brother: Elbert Powell (Elaine); grandchildren: Jennifer, Beth Anne, Jonathan, Demetria; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Virginia Eloise Warhurst will be held at Gum Springs Cemetery today, Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Chad Clanton officiating. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.pettusturnbo.com.
