Calvin William Harlan, age 85, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020.
A native of Lawrence County, TN, he retired from Harlan Realty & Auction Company in Columbia, TN. He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Columbia, TN, was a proud member of The Sons of the American Revolution, The Sons of the Confederate Veterans, a former member of the Rotary Club, and a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Odus and Evaline Harlan; one sister: Celestine (Jessie) Collier; one brother: Alvis (Barbara) Harlan; one step-daughter: Sheila (Ron) Long.
Calvin is survived by his wife: Barbara Kay Livengood Harlan; sons: Bryan (Lyndee) Harlan and Scott (Lisa) Harlan; step-daughter: Beverly (Randy) Maxwell; step-son: Micky (Angie) Meigs; sister: Carolyn (Harold) Parker; sister-in-love: Norma (LeRoy) Thomas; grandchildren: Jason (Michelle) Harlan and their children Zoe, Evie, and Xander, Michael Allen Harlan, Sarah Harlan, Michael (Emily) Maxwell and their son John Beckett, Taylor Maxwell, Caleb Meigs, Benjamin Meigs, Lyndsee Bell, and Joey Brakefield.
Private graveside services and interment for Calvin William Harlan were conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family requests any memorials go to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or the “Press On Fund” at Highland Park Baptist Church in Columbia TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
