Carl “Duke” Bedford, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Countryside Healthcare in Lawrenceburg, TN.
He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired mechanic from TDOT, and a member of Royal Heights Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Loudella Martin Bedford; one daughter: Carla Bedford Williams; six brothers; and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Martha L. Bedford of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son: Carl “Petey” Bedford (Melinda) of  Columbia, TN; one daughter: Pam McCune (Scott) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son-in-law: David Williams of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister: Barbara McMasters of Five Points, TN; two brothers: Larry Bedford and Donnie Bedford, both of Lawrenceburg, TN; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Carl “Duke” Bedford were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, with Chad Moore officiating. Interment followed at OK Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
