Lynn Cotter, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.
She was a native of Nashville, TN, attended St. Thomas School of Nursing and retired as a School Nurse with the Lawrence County School System. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Lawrenceburg and the Lawrence County Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James Regis and Virginia Elizabeth Klages Brennan; her husband: Lawrence Newman Cotter; and one grandson: Matthew Cotter.
She is survived by two daughters: Terrie Cotter White (Gilbert) and Julie Lynn Cotter, both of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sons: Larry Cotter (Cheryl) of Greenbrier, TN, Matt Cotter (Stacey) of Tullahoma, TN, and John Cotter (Amanda) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother: James Regis Brennan, III (Margie) of Iron River, MI; four grandchildren: Kristin Elizabeth Lyons (John), Brandon Cotter (Annie), Lawrence Newman Cotter, III, and Tyler White (Tiffany); one great-grandchild: Maddie Paige; several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service and interment for Lynn Cotter will be conducted at Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.nealfuneralhome.net.
