Virgil Duane Wells, age 57, a resident of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System.
Born on June 5, 1963 in St. Louis, MO, Duane was the son of Betty Randolph Wells and the late Virgil E. Wells. He was extremely artistic and loved drawing, painting, wood burning and woodworking. He had a great sense of humor, always telling jokes. Duane also enjoyed fishing, playing drums and guitar. He was a fan of any old music, especially Merle Haggard and the Eagles.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters: Amanda (Craig) Akers of Unionville, TN, Stephanie (Larry) Walchle and Melinda Wells, both of Florida; brother: Len Wells of Lawrenceburg, TN; sisters: Yolonda (Mike) Tripp of Summertown, TN, LaDonna Wells of Kansas; and grandchildren: Adrienne, Zachary, Eathen, Eli, Eva, Josiah, and Jenna.
A memorial service for Virgil Duane Wells was held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Lawrenceburg First United Pentecostal Church. Heritage Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be shared by way of: www.TnFunerals.com.
