Irvin Brannon, Jr., passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021.
He was a loving brother and uncle who never met a stranger. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a good joke to tell. He worked as a security guard in Addison and at the corporate offices of Parisians in Birmingham. He sold Singer sewing machines for many years and took pride in his sewing abilities. He was a man of many talents and gifts and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Irvin had a strong Christian faith and enjoyed attending his local church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Irvin Engram Brannon and Irene Orton Brannon; brother: Donald Brannon; and sisters: Era Mae Adams and Dolores B. Forman.
He is survived by his brother: Wyndell Gene “Buckshot” Brannon; nephews: Donald Robert Brannon, David Brannon, Dennis Brannon, and Wyndell Gene “Booshot” Brannon; and nieces: Annette Womble, Veronica Adams, Cynthia Forman Wilkinson, and Melissa Niedergeses.
A graveside service and burial for Irvin Brannon, Jr., was held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Ethridge Masonic Cemetery in Ethridge, TN. Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, AL was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be shared by way of: www.nicholsfuneralhomes.com.
