Valerie Ann Roberts, age 60, of Madison, AL passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Madison Hospital after a brief illness due to COVID-19.
She was a native of Decatur, AL, retired art teacher from the Huntsville, AL School System, and an adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her father: Roy Roberts; step-father: John Plaskett; and step-sister: Sunny Coker.
She is survived by her mother: Patricia Ann Roberts Plaskett of Westpoint, TN; step-mother: Betty Roberts of Madison, AL; brother: Barry Roberts of St. Joseph, TN; step-sisters: Sandy (Tony) Weisner of Madison, AL, Sherry Strange of Bauxite, AR, Suzie (Mike) Dewerd of Costa Rica; step-brothers: Johnny (Kim) Osborne of Camp Hill, AL and Mike (Jennifer) Plaskett of Memphis, TN.
A Celebration of Life for Valeria Ann Roberts will be held later this year. Loretto Memorial Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
