Jeanne Nunley Comer, age 74, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Maury Regional in Columbia, TN.
She was a 1964 graduate of Loretto High School and a member of the Marcella Falls Church of Christ in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was married to her loving husband, Richard Comer for 56 years, and was preceded in death by her parents: Willie B. Nunley and Mary Turner Nunley of Morrison, TN.
Survivors include her sons: Mike (Barbara) Comer of Lawrenceburg, TN, Scott (Heather) Comer of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter: Kim Comer of Mt. Pleasant, TN; grandsons: Kyle (Erin) Comer of Lebanon, TN and Seth Comer of Lawrenceburg, TN; great-granddaughters: Kelsie and Katelyn Comer; step-granddaughters: Cara (Jeff) Luna and Christin (Matt) Moss; step-great-grandchildren: Drew, Trent, Peyton Luna and Paisley Moss; brother: David Nunley of Hazel Green, AL; sisters: Lorraine (Mac) Neidert of Loretto, TN and Janice (Dicky) Gilispie of McMinnville, TN; several nieces and nephews. She touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Graveside service and interment for Jeanne Nunley Comer were conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 with Dan Edwards officiating. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Marcella Falls Church of Christ, or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
