Laurence Lyndon Johnson, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.
He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired civil engineer from the Alabama Highway Department, a mason, and a member of Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Johnson served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Albert Guy and Alice Dale Laurence Johnson; his first wife: Gennet Weathers Johnson; and two brothers-in-law: Johnny Weathers and Jerry Weathers.
He is survived by his wife: Okerleen Stout Johnson of Lawrenceburg, TN; four step-children: Bret Stout (Sherry) of Leoma, TN, Debbie Ezell (Tim) of Five Points, TN, Carol Davis (Carleton) of Germantown, TN, and Eric Stout (Callie) of Newman, GA; six step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law: Don Weathers (Diane) of Mt. Juliet, TN and James Weathers of Leoma, TN; four sisters-in-law: JoAnn Rigsby of Lawrenceburg, TN, Rita Shelton (Doc) and Nita Vincent, both of Leoma, TN, and Kay Weathers of The Villages, FL; several nieces and nephews.
