Maggie Sue Johnston, age 99, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at her residence. She was a member of Gandy Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas L. Johnston; parents: Charles Hooper and Bertha Hughes Porter; brothers: Bill Porter, C.M. Porter, J.R. Porter, Jr. Porter, John Porter, and Clyde Porter; sisters: Clara White, Ethel Smith, Inez Smith and Mildred Walker; and grandson: Darrell Smith.
She is survived by her sons: Tom Johnston (Retha) and Bob Johnston (Carol); daughters: Linda Sue Smith and Gwen Gilliam (Donnie); brothers: Cecil Porter and David Porter; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Maggie Sue Johnston were held Monday, February 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel with Larry Murdock and Bob Johnston officiating.
