Margie Nell Dixon Caperton Blalock was born March 4, 1955 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of the late John Lewis and Mary Christine Kilburn Dixon. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the age of 65 years, 11 months and 19 days. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Christopher Caperton and Keith Caperton; two brothers: George Dixon and DeDe Dixon; and infant sister: Joyce Nell Dixon.
She is survived by daughter: Kimberly Grigsby (Albert) of Lawrenceburg, TN; four grandchildren: Trenton Grigsby, Triston Grigsby, Gavin Grigsby and Christy Caperton; two great-grandchildren: Xaiden Grigsby and Cayden Powell; four brothers: Junior Dixon, Willard Dixon, Bobby Dixon all of Waynesboro, TN, and Harold Dixon of Collinwood, TN; and sister: Reba Dixon Kilburn (James) of Collinwood, TN.
Funeral services for Margie Nell Dixon Caperton Blalock were held Monday, March 1, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, TN with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial followed at Shields Cemetery at Waynesboro, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors was in charge of all arrangements.
