Mattie Lucille Wallace Bentley, age 63, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.
She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. She loved shopping, walking and Facebook. She was a dedicated mother and wife who loved her family dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Myrtle and Herbert Wallace, Sr.; sisters; Mary Elizabeth Bentley and Elnora Steward; and brother: Walter Thomas Wallace.
She is survived by her husband: James Bentley of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughter: Starla Bentley of Lawrenceburg, TN; sister: Linda Jones of Pulaski, TN; brothers: Herbert Wallace (Virginia) of Pulaski, TN, Kenard Wallace, and Micheal Wallace (Barbara) of Lawrenceburg, TN; hosts of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services for Mattie Lucille Wallace Bentley were held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2021 with Bro. James Morton officiating. Burial followed at Knob Creek Cemetery. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
