James E. Hickman
James E. Hickman, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at his residence.
He was a native of Ethridge, TN, a self-employed contractor, a volunteer for God’s Storehouse, and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Hickman served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Felix and Alta Risner Hickman; his wife: Sybil Nell Crabb Hickman; one brother: Charlie Hickman; one sister: Lela Mae Hickman; and one great-grandchild: Dekota Headrick.
He is survived by three daughters: Connie Beeman (Scott), Kathie Risner (David), and Carol Stanfill (Johnny), all of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister: Pearl Beaver of Olive Branch, MS; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for James E. Hickman were conducted at Mars Hill Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 with Mickey Brackin and Jeff Overton officiating. Interment followed at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Giles County, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
