June Farris Hunter, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN.
She was a native of Hampshire, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Morgan and Maude Ethel Winsett Farris; one daughter: Marsha Seay; one sister: Jean Wagoner; and one grandson: Chris Hagan.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years: W. M. “Bill” Hunter of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter: Mindy Clark (Douglas) of Asheville, NC; one son: Mark Hunter (Bettie Ann) of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren: Isaac Clark, April Mays, and DeAnna Fox; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Joy Butts of VA and Janice Ludwigsen of Greenville, SC.
Graveside services and interment for June Farris Hunter were conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 with Reggie Coleman officiating. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
