Thelma South Wiggins, age 91, of Ethridge, TN passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
She was a native of Cobb County, GA, retired from Dura Automotive Systems, and of the Church of God faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Harriet Hughes Webb; her first husband: Luke South; her second husband: Lawson Wiggins; two sons: Charles South and Gene South; and ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one daughter: Dana Brewer (Bill) of Leoma, TN; one son: Brian South of Lawrenceburg, TN; nine grandchildren: Mandy Burleson (David), Will South, Shane South (Lisa), Joey Brewer (Chase), Jacob Brewer (Jessica), Clint Brewer (Brook), Shea McGill (Jo), Brian South, Jr., and Brianna Maldonado (Sammy); thirteen great-grandchildren: Jenna Isbell, Anniston Brewer, Jayce Smith, Kayzlie Brewer, Jocie Brewer, Chasin South, Crimson South, Chloe South, Chevy Maldonado, Isaiah McGill, Adalee McGill, Tana Burleson, and Quincy Burleson; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial for Thelma South Wiggins were conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 with Billy Beal officiating. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.nealfuneralhome.net.
