Raymond Leon Haywood, age 78, of Columbia, TN passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.
He was a native of Mt. Joy, TN, retired from Columbia Power and Water Systems, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved gardening, antique cars, and classic cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Lillian Sims Haywood; his wife of 59 years: Opal Garland Haywood; and one brother: Bobby Haywood.
He is survived by one son: Ronnie Haywood of Columbia, TN; one sister: Dean Haywood; and was loved by all who knew him.
Funeral services for Raymond Leon Haywood were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021 with Elder Al Chappell officiating.
