Wilma Jean Sears Kelley Newton, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at her residence.
She was a native of Corbin, KY, retired school bus driver, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Clarence and Ora Black Sears; her first husband: James Arthur Kelley; her second husband: Amos Newton; one son: James Roger Kelley; three brothers: C. F. Sears, Claude E. Sears, and Wilbur Sears; and one grandson: Ricky Wayne Aldridge.
She is survived by two daughters: Brenda Aldridge (Wayne) of Memphis, TN and Diane Kelly of Lawrenceburg, TN; six step-daughters; two step-sons; three grandchildren: Jackie Hill (Michael) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Rhonda Stus (Sean) of Memphis, TN, and R. J. Kelley of Tullahoma, TN; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Wilma Jean Sears Kelley Newton were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 with Rodney Krick officiating and at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Laurel Funeral Home in Corbin, KY.  Interment followed at Black Cemetery in Gray, KY. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
