Iva Nell “Nellie” Adkins, age 77, of Pulaski, TN passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.
She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired clerk from Adkins Building Supply, and attended Choates Creek United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father: Loyce Robertson, Sr.; mother: Retha Mae McBride Grinnell; husband: Charles Adkins; two sons: Barry Adkins and Kerry “Kurt” Adkins; one grandson: Andy Adkins; one sister: Judy Easom; and three brothers: Loyce Robertson, Jr., Jerry Robertson, and Douglas Robertson.
She is survived by one son: Frankie Adkins of Pulaski, TN; one sister: Kathy McGee of Lawrenceburg, TN; two brothers: Kenny Robertson of Anderson, AL and Ricky Grinnell of Zebulon, GA; six grandchildren: Jonathan Adkins, Chase Adkins, Matthew Adkins, Breeana Durden, Kelci Dean, and Hunter Adkins; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Iva Nell “Nellie” Adkins were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Interment followed at Bumpas Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.nealfuneralhome.net.
