Mack Alvin Dodd, age 74, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, August 30, 2021.
He was a native of Summertown, TN, retired truck driver, and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Dodd served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his father: Milton “Buddy” Dodd; and his mother: Sarah Rosson Pilkinton.
He is survived by his wife: Lily Dodd of Lawrenceburg, TN; three daughters: Pearl Dodd of Loretto, TN, Ruby Chavez of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Amy Wesson of Chesapeake, VA; seven grandchildren: Lili Chavez, Jacob Chavez, Mikayla Chavez, Joseph Chavez, Jenna Chavez, Emily Wesson, and Megan Dodd.; sister: Dean Wolfe of Lawrenceburg, TN; and brother: Joe Dodd of Ethridge, TN.
Graveside services and interment for Mack Alvin Dodd were conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 5, 2021 with military honors. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.nealfuneralhome.net.
