Jimmy Lee Putnam, age 76, a native of Lawrence County, TN passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
He was retired from the United States Air Force serving both at home and abroad.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Leroy and Bessie Putnam of Lawrence County, TN; and his brother J.W. Putnam, a native of Lawrence County, TN.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years: Sandra Kay Putnam of Ft Walton Beach, FL; brother: Paul Putnam (Jody) of Florida; sisters: Jeanette Staggs, Judy Clayton (Danny), Carolyn Bates, all of Lawrence County, TN; daughter: Michelle Putnam Newton (Tim), Lawrenceburg, TN; step-sons: Lee Garner, a native of Lawrence County, TN, and Sid Garner of Lawrence County, TN; step-daughter: Sissy Garner of Lawrence County, TN; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He leaves behind loved in-laws and extended family as well.
A memorial service for Jimmy Lee Putnam will be held at a later date.
