Janet Gobble Shouse, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN.
She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, a member of Noah’s Ark Widows Ministry, and Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James Leo and Martha Elaine Lively Gobble; husband: Arthur Thomas Shouse; sister: Reba Nell Mobbs; son-in-law: Alan Dale Hildenbrandt; brothers-in-law: Paul Malugin, Steve Nichols, Bobby Shouse, J.W. Shouse, and Clayton Mobbs; and sister-in-law: Jewell Shouse.
She is survived by one daughter: Diane Hildenbrandt of Columbia, TN; two sons: Tommy Shouse (Mary Gunn) of  Lawrenceburg, TN and Michael Shouse (Lavenia) of Columbia, TN; one brother: Jimmy Gobble (Sara) of Lawrenceburg, TN; sisters-in-law: Clara Mae Malugin of Santa Fe, TN, Betty Shouse of Santa Fe, TN, Faye Adkison (Gerald) of Santa Fe, TN, and Martha Nichols of Mt. Juliet, TN; nine grandchildren: Jon Hildenbrandt, Keri Jackson (Shawn), Desiree Shouse, Dwayne Carter, Dakota Shouse (Taylor), Derek Shouse (Bailey), Joshua Shouse (Brittany), Jennifer Doshair (Figi), and Jacob Shouse (Whittney); ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Janet Gobble Shouse were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2021 with Mike Wimberly officiating.
