Conrad William “Bill” Beckman, age 91, of Loretto, TN passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at home after a brief illness.
He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a United States Navy veteran serving in the Korean War, a retired lab technician from Occidental Petroleum, a member of the American Legion Post #146, Knights of Columbus, and was known for his talents in woodcarving. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Conrad and Teresa Neidert Beckman; brothers: Sammy Beckman and Al Beckman; and sister: Roseanne Carl.
He is survived by his wife: Anna Meyer Beckman of Loretto, TN; sons: John Beckman (Cindy) of Texas, Dan Beckman (Rhonda) of Idaho and Ken Beckman (Joanne) of Tennessee; daughter: Anita Spann (Johnny) of Tennessee; brothers: Henry Beckman, Donnie Beckman, Lloyd Beckman, Ricky Beckman and Joe Beckman, all of Loretto, TN and Wally Beckman of Chicago, IL; sisters: Noreen Sandy of St. Joseph, TN, Diane McMasters of Loretto, TN, Mary Blanch White of Florence, AL and Lois Janke of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Conrad William “Bill” Beckman will be conducted today, Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Loretto Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Delphinus Mutajuka officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery with military honors presented at the graveside. Loretto Memorial Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
