James Lee Wallace, age 81 of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021.
He was born December 24, 1939 in Wayne County, TN. He retired from Bunny Bread after 30 years of dedicated and loyal service, working as a truck driver and sales representative. During his time at Bunny Bread, he won the award for Salesman of the Year for several years in a row. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in the outdoors and working on his yard. He attended Fish Trapp Free Will Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Danville and Flossy Wallace; father-in-law: Leroy Ray; mother-in-law: Earlene Ray.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Augusta Wallace; son: Larry Wallace; daughters: Nancy Fitz, and Wanda Ricketts (James); brothers: Joel Wallace (Glenda), and Joseph Wallace (Diane); sisters: Maggie Hagan (J.R.) and Rebecca Clark; grandchildren: Coty Ricketts (Chazelyn), and Westley Ricketts (Candace); great-grandchildren: Kaydence, Quest, Lynleigh, and Ledger; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for James Lee Wallace were held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Interment followed at Fish Trapp Cemetery. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be offered by way of: www.pettusturnbo.com.
