James Herman Cheney
James Herman Cheney, age 89, of Leoma, TN passed away Friday, December 3, 2021, at his residence.
He was a native of Forrest City, AR, retired from the U.S. Army, retired from Eskridge & Holland Realty & Auction Co., and attended Leoma Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James Artemus and Edna Vera Nightingale Cheney; and his wife: Mary Ella Rinks Cheney.
He is survived by one daughter: Beverly Turner (James Gray) of Columbia, TN; three grandchildren: Mavis Marie Turner, Tara Colleen Turner, and Clayton Cheney Turner; and several siblings in Arkansas and Florida.
Funeral services for James Herman Cheney were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021 with Rodney Livingston officiating. Interment followed at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
