Dorothy Sue Ingram Daughtry, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at NHC Scott.
Born on October 26, 1940 in Corinth, MS, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Bill Jack Ingram and the late Rebecca Ann Phillips Ingram. She worked twenty-six years for Frito Lay in Pulaski, TN before retiring. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Mars Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning, farming, and taking care of her chickens, ducks, and cows. She was a crafty lady who loved decorating for all the different holidays. Above all, she loved her family; especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by her husband: Marshall Herman Daughtry; brothers: Woodrow Ingram and Billy Joe Ingram; and sisters: Bobbie Nell Allen, Sara Ann Miles and Mary Hillenblock.
She is survived by her daughter: Susan Daughtry (Jonathan) Burnett; son: John (Amanda) Daughtry; sister: Helen (Barry) Block; grandchildren: Kelsey (Lane) Heatherly and William Daughtry; great-grandson: Cooper Heatherly; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Dorothy Sue Daughtry will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, TN with Chad Moore officiating. A visitation will also be held on Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the church. Honorary pallbearers will include, Shirley Monroe, Reba Duren, Janice Franklin, Faye Mabry, Shirley Ellis, and Sharon Rowe.
