Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Rawdon White was born September 25, 1934, in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrenceburg for the majority of her life and a faithful member of Springer Road Church of Christ. She passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was predeceased by her husband: Lewie White; parents: Dessa Mae Rawdon Sharpton and Claude Eaven Rawdon; brother: C.W.; and infant sister: Noville Magdalene Rawdon.
Betty is survived by her two daughters: Cindy Stevens Nash (Terry) and Lisa Stevens Williams (Sam); granddaughters: Kady Nash Green, Elizabeth Hart Williams, Sara Foster, and Ashley Chancey; nine great-grandchildren: her brother: Carl D. Rawdon; nieces; and one nephew.
A private graveside service and interment for Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Rawdon White was conducted at John Lay Cemetery on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 with James Smith and Nate Bibens officiating. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Honorary pallbearers were a team of very special caregivers: Telma Brito and family, Team from Compassus Hospice Care especially Lynn, Penny, Stacey, Lanier, Jessie, and Carla. The family of Betty White is very thankful for these people and the care they provided.
