Mrs. Kimberly “Kim” Jean Clanton Whitehead, age 58, wife of Johnny Whitehead, and a resident of Ethridge, TN passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at North Alabama Medical Center.
Kim was born on January 21, 1964 in Lawrence County, the daughter of the late Lindon “Nubbin” Clanton and the late Billie Jean Laws Clanton. She married Johnny Whitehead on March 22, 1990. A very kindhearted person, Kim was a caregiver since a very young age. She had a special love for children and animals, especially dogs. Above all, she loved her family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters-in-law: Mary Head and Jewell Estes; and brothers-in-law: Eddie Whitehead and Chuck Whitehead.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brothers: Mike Robbins of Ethridge, TN and Steve (Jackie) Clanton of Knoxville, TN; sisters-in-law: Linda Morton of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Kat (Monk) Woodard of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Faye (Leslie) Burns of Mt. Pleasant, TN; special niece: Sherry (David) Smith of Mt. Pleasant, TN; special cousins: Sambo Laws of Lawrence County, TN and Brenda Benderman of Mt. Pleasant, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Kimberly “Kim” Jean Whitehead were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Home with Randy McNeece officiating.
