Jimmy Lee Fowlkes, age 78, of Loretto, TN passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital following an extended illness.
He was a native of Lauderdale County, AL and worked construction.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Claudiette Sewell Fowlkes; and parents: Leonard and Pauline Baskins Fowlkes.
Survivors include his children: Cindy Wood (John) of Summertown, TN and Michael Fowlkes of Madison, AL; grandchildren: Dylan Wood (Meghan) of Columbia, TN, Bryce Wood of Summertown, TN and Brody Fowlkes of Madison, AL; brothers: George Fowlkes of Florence, AL and Donald Fowlkes of Petersville, AL; sister: Janie Pierce (Bobby) of Russellville, AL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Jimmy Lee Fowlkes were conducted at3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Loretto Memorial Chapel with Gary Springer officiating. Burial followed at Bishop Chapel Cemetery.
