Please take notice that on November 22, 2021, a Petition for Condemnation was filed in this Court against you pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 29-17-701, et. seq. and 29-17-901 et seq., praying for the condemnation for public purposes of the hereinafter described tract of land in which you have or may have an interest or right. The Petitioner must acquire this tract of land.
The property to be condemned in this cause is more particularly described as follows:
Located in Lawrence County, Tennessee:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the existing west margin of S.R. 6 and the south boundary of the Chadwick C. Moore, ETUX property, said point of intersection being 42.00’ left of S.R. 6 proposed centerline station 175+08.54; thence with said existing margin S 23º 14’ 24” W 182.69’ to a point, said point being 42.00’ left of S.R. 6 proposed centerline 173+25.85; thence with the north boundary of the Benjamin T. Fisher and Benjamin T. Fisher, II property N 78º 34’ 05” W 10.27’ to a point, said point being 52.06’ left of S.R. 6 proposed centerline station 173+23.74; thence with the proposed west margin of said road N 23º 19’ 27” E 182.85’ to a point, said point being 51.79’ left of S.R. 6 proposed centerline station 175+06.60; thence with said south boundary S 77º 59’ 31” E 9.98’ to the point of beginning, containing 1813 square feet.
The above described property is hereby conveyed in fee simple.
Beginning at the point of intersection of the proposed west margin of S.R. 6 and the south boundary of said Moore property, said point of intersection being 51.79’ left of S.R. 6 proposed centerline station 175+06.60; thence with said proposed margin S 23º 19’ 27” W 182.85’ to a point; thence with the north boundary of said Fisher property N 78º 34’ 05” W 3’ ± to a point; thence with the meander of the slope northerly 183’ ± to a point; thence with said south boundary S 77” 59’31” E 4’ ± to the point of beginning, containing 610 square feet.
The above described property is hereby conveyed as an easement for construction of slopes outside the proposed right of way line. The land on which the slopes are to be constructed remains the property of the Grantor(s). This easement shall terminate upon completion of construction of the project.
Being a strip of land parallel to and at all point no greater than 10.00’ from the slope easement described above, containing 625 square feet.
The tract of land described herein above is locally identified as part of Parcel 031.00 on Lawrence County Tax Map 059.
The Petitioner seeks to acquire the above-described tract of land as well as all structures and related improvements situated on said tract of land in fee simple for public highway purposes.
You must plead, answer, or except to same as provided by law, or the Petition will be taken as confessed against you. The case will be set for a possession hearing upon the record and in your absence in the Circuit Courtroom in the Lawrence County Courthouse, at 9:00 a.m. on the 12th day of April, 2022 and for hearing on compensation issues on a later date.
IT IS ORDERED that publication of this notice be made for four consecutive weeks in the Lawrence County Advocate, a newspaper of general circulation in Lawrence County, Tennessee.

Pursuant to TCA §43-14- 201, DUE NOTICE is hereby given that an election will be held March 4, 2022, for three positions on the Lawrence County Soil Conservation District (SCD) Board. Polling locations will be: Marshall’s Store, 3706 HWY 43N, Ethridge, TN, Lawrence Farmer’s CO-OP, 400 Crews St., Lawrenceburg, Lawrence Co. Extension Office, 2385 Buffalo Rd., Lawrenceburg, USDA Service Center, 237 Waterloo St., Lawrenceburg, and Moore’s Country Store, 24 Mockerson Rd., Five Points, from 8am until 4pm CDT. Nominating petition submittal deadline is March 1, 2022, by 4pm CDT to the NRCS/SCD office, at 237 Waterloo St., Lawrenceburg.
