Deonna Brucesanta Hughes, affectionately known as “Brucie” by many, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at her residence in Lawrenceburg, TN.
Born on February 23, 1973 in Lawrenceburg, TN, Brucie was the daughter of Martha Lee Harris Maxwell and the late James Edward Hughes. She enjoyed listening to music and above all loved her family, especially her children and late husband.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Bart Hughes, James Hughes, and Willard Hughes; and husband: John Curtis Kingsbury, I.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children: Samantha Kingsbury Weigart of Lawrenceburg, TN; John Curtis Kingsbury, II, of Whiteville, TN; sister: Renay (Jose) Fernandez of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren: Haylie Mattox, Baylynn Weigart, Gabriel Vogel, Amaris Vogel; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Deonna Brucesanta Hughes were held Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowview Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, TN. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, TN assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered by way of: www.TnFunerals.com.
