Virgil Eugene Guttery, age 92, of Leoma, TN passed away at home on Sunday, April 24, 2022 following a brief illness.
He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired water commissioner for the City of Loretto, and of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Taft and Vera Johnson Guttery; sister: Mary Helen Guttery; and son-in-law: Jerone Lamprecht.
Survivors include his wife: Okerlene Stanford Guttery of Five Points, TN; son: David Guttery (Judy) of Five Points, TN; daughters: Sandra Lamprecht of Lawrenceburg, TN and Susan Terry (Duane) of Woodway, TX; sister: Joyce Sadler of Arrington, TN; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Virgil Eugene Guttery were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Loretto Memorial Chapel with Ted Stricklin officiating.
