Hugh Benton Price, age 85, of Loretto, TN passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at NHC Healthcare Lawrenceburg after an extended illness.
He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a United States Army Veteran, a tractor mechanic, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Samuel Jackson and Reba Lou Randolph Price; son: Donald Price; daughter: Kathy Howell; and three sisters: Evelina Price, Corina Faught and Bessie Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife: Jearl Dean Price, of Loretto, TN; sons: Bobby Price (Bonita), of Adamsville, TN and Richard Price (Melisaa) of Loretto, TN; daughter: Karen Self (Bubba) of Rogersville, AL; three sisters: Esther Gulley, Jewel Johnston and Ruth Smith, all of Lawrenceburg, TN; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services Hugh Benton Price were held at Loretto Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023 with Rodney Krick and Hobert Seymore officiating.  Burial followed at Oakhill Cemetery with military honors given at the graveside.
