Conny Peterson

Conny Peterson
Tragedy visited Lawrenceburg on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 around noon, when a vehicle struck Conny Peterson (65 yrs old) while riding his bicycle northbound on Locust at the traffic light between the Walmart parking lot and the Employees Resource Credit Union. He was rushed to Vanderbilt Hospital for treatment and later taken off life support due to severe trauma passing away that afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
Conny was a joyful soul that had come to know many of you here in Lawrenceburg and surrounding area. For those that knew him, Conny was a good friend and gentle in spirit. He had moved to the area some 12 years ago after the last of his family had passed away, seeking a new life and attempted to homestead west of town. You for certain have seen him through the years as he was one of the more regular persons on the road with a bicycle. Conny leaves behind many who called him friend, he will be missed dearly. His life and his passing are a needed reminder that all lives are a blessing and gift from God and to enjoy the time of fellowship with others while they are with us. Conny’s last post on his Facebook account on March 6 was: “Who wants to be my friend?” With the time we have remaining let us seek out the joy and love of life in others as our Creator has intended for us. Make more friends… this world needs it.
A memorial service for Conny Peterson will be held this Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Lawrenceburg Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 1890 Buffalo Road in Lawrenceburg. All are welcome.
“A new commandment I give you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. ~ John 13:34-35 ESV.
