Anne Lindsey Baker, retired Office Administrator for Maury County Water System and resident of Leoma, TN died Friday, June 9, 2023 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems.
Born in Hickman County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Herbert H. Lindsey and the late Beulah Bibb Lindsey. She married Robert L. Baker who preceded her in death November 27, 1976. She was a 1955 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, and working puzzles. She was a past member of Columbia Women’s Bowling Association and member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, TN.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Connie Lynn Goodwin in 2007; sister: Elizabeth Temes; brothers: James Lindsey, Frank Lindsey, Roy Lindsey; and step-son: Rusty Baker.
Survivors include her daughter: Bethany Anne (Ricky) Sewell of Leoma, TN; granddaughter: Lindsey Michelle Sewell of Leoma, TN; step-children: Sherry Carroll, Brenda Westmoreland, Bryan Baker; step-grandchildren: Stephanie (David) Frye, Payton Allen, Keely Allen; step-great-grandchildren: Madison Frye, Noah Frye; and sister-in-law: Lois Lindsey.
Funeral services for Anne Lindsey Baker will be conducted Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Cotton officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
