Mahlon Allen Steadman, born September 23, 1967 in Lawrence County, TN, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023.
He was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a truck driver for Teamsters Local 480 and in his free time he loved to deer hunt, play drums and spoil his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Mahlon Andrew and Jennellus “Jennie” Newton Steadman, both of Leoma, TN; one brother: Michael Andrew Steadman of Leoma, TN; step-brother: Anthony J. Waldrop.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years: Carrie Lynn Lumpkins Steadman of Antioch, TN; three daughters: Leah Danielle Steadman of Nashville, TN, Courtney Lynn Steadman Wood of Smyrna, TN, Jennie Nicole Steadman of Murfreesboro, TN; grandsons: Keigan Allen Smith of Clarksville, TN, Kamden Braxx Smith of Murfreesboro, TN, Grayson Paul Carter Wood of Smyrna, TN; granddaughters: Krista Nicole Casillas of Spring Hill, TN, Alyssa Mirabelle Roe of Smyrna, TN; step-mother: Frances Ruby Steadman; aunt: Charlotte Plunkett; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services for Mahlon Allen Steadman were conducted at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 with Bro. Jessie Heath officiating.
