Donald R. Sweeton, age 71, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at home.
He was a native of Nashville, TN, retired owner of DASCO, Inc., and of the Church of Christ faith. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and boat racing. Don loved his family dearly and was very involved in their lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles Edward and Norma Farlow Sweeton; and one sister: Vickie Shaver.
He is survived by his wife: Sarah Evans Sweeton of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son: Charles Sweeton (Hannah) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two daughters: Whitney Hood (Jonathan) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Lindsay Maxwell (Chris) of Middleton, TN; four grandchildren: Anna Claire Hood, Taylor Maxwell, Landon Maxwell, and Sutton Sweeton; one brother: Eddie Joe Sweeton; and one nephew: Blake Shaver.
Funeral services for Donald R. Sweeton were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2023 with Jacob Evans officiating. Interment followed at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
