Lucille Grooms Marks, age 96, of Loretto, TN passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at NHC Healthcare Scott following an extended illness.
She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Perry Enterprises, and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Sonny Marks; parents: Trig and Hattie Hughes Grooms; brother: Sam Grooms; and sister: Mary Grace Lumpkins.
She is survived by her sons: Terry P. Marks (Kathy) of Leoma, TN, Buddy Marks (Samantha) of Summertown, TN, Kenny Marks (Vicky) of Lexington, AL, and Michael “Curly” Marks (Donna), Danny Keith Marks, and Randy “Punk” Marks (Paula), all of Loretto, TN; sister: Sue Simbeck of Loretto, TN; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lucille Grooms Marks were conducted at Loretto Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2023 with James Prince officiating. Burial followed at Bishop Chapel Cemetery.
