Freddie Lee Flatt, age 86, of Loretto, TN passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Maury Regional M
edical Center after a brief illness.
He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio after 49 ½ years, and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Luther and Mertie Dover Flatt; son: Steve Flatt; sister: Ruby Campbell; brothers: Virgil, Alton and Carl Flatt.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara Flatt of Loretto, TN; daughter: Becky Kizer (Chuck) of Loretto, TN; granddaughter: Lori Carter of St. Joseph, TN; great-grandson: Jaxon Carter of St. Joseph, TN; brothers: Oscar Flatt, Jerry Flatt, and Randy Flatt, all of Loretto, TN; sisters: Idell Elkins of Leoma, TN, Dorothy Dollar and Iva Smith, both of Loretto, TN, and Faye Johns of Leoma, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Freddie Lee Flatt were held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Loretto Memorial Chapel with Rodney Krick officiating. Burial followed at Loretto Memorial Gardens.
