Charles Hugh Robertson, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Lawrenceburg.
He served as an Elder at Salem Church of Christ, a past board member for Farm Bureau and the Tennessee Children’s Home, among other boards and associations for agriculture. He was also a former owner of Grain and Elevator. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time on the farm with his family and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his late wife: Joyce Trapp Robertson; parents: Hugh and Rachel Robertson.
He is survived by his current wife: Doris Todd Robertson; children: Paul Robertson, Pam Andrews (Scott), Lana Barnes (Todd), and David Robertson (Erin); step-children: Debbie Wix (Eddie) and Todd Slagle (Teresa); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Charles Hugh Robertson were held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Keith Barnett officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tennessee Children’s Home.
