PEGGY ANN SNIDER, Deceased resident of Lawrence County, Tennessee.
Notice is Hereby given that on the 11th day of October, 2023, Letters Testamentary, in respect of the PEGGY ANN SNIDER, who died September 12, 2023, were issued to the undersigned by the Probate Court Clerk of Lawrence County, Tennessee.
All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured against the Estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred:
(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty (60) days before the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or
(B) Sixty (60) days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the notice to creditors if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of first publication (or posting) as described in (1) (A); or
(2) Twelve (12) months from the decedent’s date of death.

It appearing to the Court from the verified matters set forth in Petition for Adoption by a Step Parent and Petition for Termination of Parental Rights which Petitioners Jessica Amber Jaco (now Simpson) and husband Alex Chase Simpson filed in this cause that service by publication pursuant to T.R.Civ.P. 4.08 and T.C.A. §§ 21-1-203, 21-1-204, and 36-1-117 (m)(3) is appropriate.
IT IS, THEREFORE, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that publication be made for four (4) consecutive weeks as required by law. In compliance with Tennessee Code Annotated 21-1-203 and 21-1-204 and the Chancery Court for Lawrence County, Tennessee, the following notice shall appear:
1. An abbreviated notice shall appear in Lawrence County Advocate (Lawrence County, Tennessee) with the following test:
TO: CHRISTOPHER COLBY JACO, biological father of the minor children, RAELYN FAITH JACO and BRAYLEIGH ERIN JACO:
A Petition for Adoption by a Step Parent and Petition for Termination of Parental Rights has been filed against you by Jessica and Alex Simpson. It appears that ordinary process of law cannot be served upon you because your whereabouts are unknown. It is, therefore, ordered that you respond to this notice by filing an Answer to the Petition in this cause with the Clerk for the Chancery Court, Lawrence County, Tennessee, and with Attorney J. Christopher Williams, at the address shown below, on or before the date listed below. A copy of the petition for adoption and Termination of Parental Rights may be obtained from the Clerk of the Chancery Court, Lawrence County, Tennessee. If no Answer is filed by the date shown below, a hearing to grant the Petition will be set without further notice to you and a Judgment by Default will be taken against you.
Answer due on or before 30 days past publication, 2023
