She was a native of Lawrence County, born September 2, 1927. She was the female business owner and operator of Mac’s Florist for many years before retiring. She loved serving her God and was a long-time member of Deerfield Baptist Church, and most recently Trinity Baptist Church. She always spoke about how much she loved singing hymns in her church choir, and was a member of The Master’s Quarter. She was a master-baker, and her sweet treats were adored by many. The highlight of her family’s holidays was her homemade confections, especially her pies. Charlotte spread kindness and warmth to everyone she encountered and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer Frakes and Lorene Kelso Frakes; siblings: Charles Frakes, Max Frakes, Marshall Frakes, Helen Frakes Clayton, and Glynn Frakes Pettus.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and treated as her own children.
